The single biggest killer of men aged under 45 in the UK isn’t drug related, a traffic accident, or a heart attack.
It’s something we need to tackle, and we can make a start by talking about it.
#biggerissues became one of the most talked about topics across the UK on November 19th.
This means, together, we reached over 23,000,000 people with our message.
On the same day – International Men’s Day – the topic of male suicide was debated in parliament for the first time, following the #biggerissues campaign from CALM and Lynx.
This is just the first step, but it’s a big one on the way to changing attitudes towards suicide as a major public health issue.
